The SGBV Justice Network Cluster led by LAWYERS ALERT organized a 2-day training for the Justice sector and CBO in Makurdi Benue state with GWHREI in attendance.
The training was on ACTIVATION/IMPLEMENTATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST PERSONS PROHIBITION (VAPP) and ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE (ACJ) LAWS, to interact and together review both the VAPP & ACJ Act which was aimed at understanding the content of both laws to get speedy delivery for SGBV survivors in the state.
It is believed that this meeting will create synergy and also strengthen the Justice sector’s actors interrelationship and dependant in a manner that will achieve the objective of both laws and also push for implementation of both laws in the state. Day1
